February School Holiday Schedule Announced Ahead of Ramadan in UAE

With Ramadan expected to commence on March 1, schools across the UAE have released their February holiday schedules, offering varied breaks depending on their academic calendars.

Most schools have planned a week-long holiday from Monday, February 10, to Friday, February 14, giving students and staff a total nine-day break when weekends are included.

Other schools will have a shorter three-day break from Wednesday, February 12, to Friday, February 14, resulting in a five-day holiday including the weekend.

Meanwhile, some institutions will observe just a two-day break on Thursday, February 13, and Friday, February 14, offering students a four-day holiday with the weekend. Regular classes for these schools will resume on Monday, February 17.

As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, schools are also preparing to implement reduced working hours to accommodate the needs of those observing the fast. Administrators have assured parents that academic schedules will be adjusted accordingly, ensuring a balanced workload that allows students to maintain their progress during the shorter school days.
