SCO to Open New Avenues of Economic Growth, Investment in Pakistan: Traders
Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry President Hafiz Umair Saeed has stated that the recent Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) conference held in Pakistan will yield significant results, opening new avenues for economic development and investment in the country, APP reported on Sunday.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Saeed mentioned that Pakistan and China are making concerted efforts to develop the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on the pattern of the European Union. He expressed optimism about the future of Asia, predicting a bright and prosperous outlook.
He noted that the launch of CPEC-II at the SCO would pave new paths for economic development and prosperity. This aligns with the government’s positive initiatives for the economy and emphasizes the importance of Asian countries uniting to tackle global challenges and advance the region’s economy and development, indicating better days ahead.
Saeed also expressed hope that the SCO would not only focus on economic matters but also work towards eliminating terrorism and playing a constructive role in resolving disputes between countries. He emphasized that only by coming together can the region move forward and improve both socially and economically.
