Global Rollout for Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 Update Leaked

Xiaomi recently introduced HyperOS 2 in China, showcasing new software enhancements and a timeline for domestic device updates. Now, a leaked list reveals the first international Xiaomi devices set to receive the HyperOS 2 update. According to the rollout schedule, updates are expected to commence “by Q1 2025,” suggesting that they could arrive as early as the end of 2024, with a more definitive timeline likely pointing to a launch by March 31, 2025.

Devices Getting HyperOS 2

The leaked information, sourced from XIAOMITIME, identifies several devices anticipated to be among the first to receive the global HyperOS 2 version. Notable models include the latest Xiaomi 14 series, the Xiaomi 14T family, and the Xiaomi 13T and 13 series. Additionally, several Poco devices, such as the Poco F6 series and Poco X6 Pro 5G, will also be included in the update.

The Redmi lineup will also feature in the initial rollout, with devices like the Redmi Note 13 and the broader Redmi 12 and 13 series being part of the update.

HyperOS 2 promises to enhance performance and introduce AI-driven features aimed at optimizing the user experience across various device categories. The Chinese version of HyperOS 2 includes multiple system optimizations, and it is anticipated that the international version will incorporate similar improvements. However, Xiaomi has yet to confirm whether there will be a global launch event dedicated to HyperOS 2 or if the rollout will proceed more discreetly.

Looking Ahead

Although an official launch date has not been announced, the global version of HyperOS 2 is expected to debut alongside the international launch of the Xiaomi 15 series, likely scheduled for early next year.
