Gold Rate in Pakistan Breaks All Previous Records After Another Big Increase
The price of gold in Pakistan reached unprecedented heights on Wednesday, approaching the Rs. 290,000 per tola mark.
According to data released by the All-Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 24-carat gold surged by Rs. 2,900 per tola, bringing it to Rs. 287,900. Similarly, the price for 10 grams rose by Rs. 2,486, now standing at Rs. 246,828. This surge follows a previous record high of Rs. 285,400 set on October 23.
In addition, the price of ten-gram 22-carat gold increased to Rs. 226,259 from Rs. 223,980. Meanwhile, the prices of silver remained stable, with per tola priced at Rs. 3,350 and ten grams at Rs. 2,872.08.
In the international market, gold prices also saw a rise, increasing by $29 to $2,784, up from $2,755, as reported by the Association.
