PlayStation’s Spider-Man 2 Will Officially Reach PC Gamers in January

In a new announcement at the New York Comic Con, Sony revealed that the dynamic duo of Peter Parker and Miles Morales will soon be web-slinging their way onto PC. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which debuted on the PlayStation 5 over a year ago, is now scheduled for a PC release on January 30, 2025.

The highly anticipated PC version will be available on two major digital platforms: Steam and the Epic Games Store. This move brings the critically acclaimed crossover adventure to a new audience of gamers.

Comic-Con attendees were treated to an exclusive first look at the game’s PC adaptation, with Sony unveiling a brand-new trailer showcasing the upcoming release. The footage gave fans a glimpse of what to expect when the Spider-Men make their PC debut early next year.

The PC release will come in two different versions: a Standard Edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition. The former will include the complete game alongside all updates previously released for the PS5 version. PC players will have access to 14 new suits, the challenging “Ultimate Levels,” and symbiote suit styles. Screenshot enthusiasts will appreciate the addition of an action figure mode in the game’s photo mode feature.

As for the Digital Deluxe Edition, it will provide additional exclusive content. This premium version boasts five unique suits each for Peter Parker and Miles Morales, totaling ten new costume options. Early access is granted to Peter’s Arachknight suit and Miles’ Shadow-Spirit suit, along with the web grabber gadget. Photo mode will also get extra items.

There are no details on pricing, but we can expect it to be $59.99 at launch.
