Honor Magic 7 Pro Previewed by CEO George Zhao

In a recent showcase, Honor’s CEO, George Zhao, offered a sneak peek at the company’s upcoming flagship device, the Honor Magic 7 Pro. The device, however, was hidden within a specially designed camouflage case, a common practice for prototype devices to keep key details under wraps.

Despite the protective case, several features of the Magic 7 Pro were noticeable. The device sports a pill-shaped cutout at the top of its display, reminiscent of the latest iPhones. This cutout houses not only the front-facing camera but also advanced 3D facial recognition technology for secure unlocking, much like Apple’s Face ID.

The Magic 7 Pro continues the trend of its predecessor with a curved display, a design choice popular among high-end Chinese smartphones for its premium look and feel. Additionally, the device embraces ultra-thin bezels, maximizing screen real estate and aligning with the latest trends in flagship devices.

While the front of the device reveals some features, the back remains largely hidden due to the protective case. The case obscures much of the back panel, including the full camera array layout. However, an LED flash and two camera lenses are visible through the case
