Redmi Note 14’s Global Launch Tipped by Regulatory Approval

The Redmi Note 14 was officially unveiled in China in September, and the excitement for its international release has been building. Recent developments suggest that Xiaomi is poised to announce the global launch of the device soon.

This anticipation follows the device receiving regulatory approval in Indonesia, where it passed through the SDPPI with the model number 24094RAD4G. The “G” at the end confirms that this is the global variant of the Redmi Note 14.

Key Features of the Redmi Note 14

The Redmi Note 14 features an impressive 6.67-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution, designed to deliver sharp visuals and vibrant colors. The 120Hz refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling and gaming experiences, while a peak brightness of 2,100 nits guarantees good visibility, even in direct sunlight. Additionally, the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for enhanced durability.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 14 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, providing reliable performance for multitasking, gaming, and streaming on a budget. The device is available with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, ensuring ample space and speed for various tasks. Plus, the option for microSD card expansion allows for additional storage.

Camera and Battery

In the camera department, the Redmi Note 14 boasts a 50MP main camera utilizing Sony’s LYT-600 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). It is complemented by a 2MP macro lens, while a 16MP selfie camera resides in a punch-hole design at the front. The phone runs on Xiaomi’s Hyper OS based on Android 14 and is equipped with a substantial 5,110 mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, allowing it to reach 50% charge in about 30 minutes.

The device is available in several colors, including Starry White, Phantom Blue, and Midnight Black. Pricing for the Redmi Note 14 starts at approximately $170 for the 6 GB RAM + 128 GB variant and $245 for the 12 GB RAM + 256 GB version.

It’s important to note that these specifications pertain to the Chinese model, and the international version may feature some adjustments, such as a different chipset or modified camera setup.
