Harry and Meghan Omitted from Royal Family Christmas Celebrations
The Royal Family has confirmed their guest list for this year’s grand Christmas celebration at Sandringham, and once again, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be attending.
This year’s festivities promise to be a lavish affair, with Buckingham Palace organizing an extravagant feast to be held in the ballroom of Sandringham House to accommodate the growing number of guests. According to sources, the success of last year’s trial run of hosting the family dinner in the ballroom has led the Palace to continue the tradition this year.
“Last year was a hit, and they decided to use the ballroom again because of the large crowd expected,” an insider shared.
The event will feature a buffet-style roast dinner, allowing the Royal Family to indulge in a festive spread complete with traditional holiday dishes. The evening promises to be a joyful and warm celebration of togetherness, though notably without the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Despite Harry and Meghan’s absence, Queen Camilla is ensuring the holiday gathering remains a family-filled occasion. The 77-year-old monarch has extended invitations to her children and grandchildren, guaranteeing a robust turnout for the celebration. Her family includes her son Tom Parker Bowles and his children Lola, 17, and Freddy, 14, as well as her daughter Laura Lopes, whose children Eliza, 16, and 14-year-old twins Gus and Louis will also be in attendance.
While many members of the Royal Family will gather at Sandringham, not all will be staying on the estate. Prince William and Princess Kate, for instance, will be nearby at their residence, Anmer Hall, but plan to join the family for the festivities.
In a heartwarming addition to this year’s gathering, Princess Beatrice will attend alongside her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The couple will celebrate with their three-year-old daughter, Sienna, and Beatrice’s stepson, Wolfie. Excitement is particularly high as Beatrice proudly showcases her baby bump, making this year’s Christmas celebration even more special for the family.
This festive event will be a grand reflection of the Royal Family’s continued tradition of celebration and unity—though this year, without Harry and Meghan.
