Gold Rate in Pakistan Nears All-Time High After Second Consecutive Increase
On Saturday, the per tola price of 24 karat gold surged by Rs. 1,600, reaching Rs. 275,500, up from Rs. 273,900 on the previous trading day.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold rose by Rs. 1,372, moving to Rs. 236,197 from Rs. 234,825. The price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also saw an increase, climbing to Rs. 216,514 from Rs. 215,256, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
Meanwhile, the prices of per tola and ten grams of silver remained stable at Rs. 3,050 and Rs. 2,614.88, respectively.
In the international market, the price of gold increased by $16, rising to $2,656 from $2,640, as reported by the Association.
