Honor X60 to Come With Huge Battery and Satellite Connection

Honor is set to unveil its latest additions to the X60 series on Wednesday, October 16. This announcement is highly anticipated as the new models are expected to surpass the features of the Honor X60i, which was launched in July.

In the lead-up to the launch, the company has been teasing standout features of the upcoming devices on Weibo, China’s popular social media platform. Among the most notable enhancements is the introduction of a massive battery capacity, named the “Honor Qinghai Lake” battery, which boasts an impressive 6,600 mAh capacity. Honor claims this new power source will provide a remarkable two-day battery life for the new X60 phone.

This marks a significant upgrade from the Honor X50 series, which already featured large batteries at 5,800 mAh with 35W charging. However, Honor has yet to disclose the charging speeds for the upcoming X60 lineup.

It is important to note that the 6,600 mAh battery may be exclusive to the X60 Pro model. Recent leaks have indicated that the standard X60 may retain the 5,800 mAh battery, as evidenced by a leaked photo showcasing the battery specifications in the phone’s settings menu.
